From the 12th of May „Baltic Software Solutions“ (BSS) management team has a new member – Nerijus Jankauskas.

On April, 2009, "Baltic Software Solutions" was certified according to the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. „Decision to acquire the certificate has been affected by the fact that the majority of our activities are abroad, where the ISO certificate opens wider opportunities to develop solutions for more various range of business. In addition, the introduction of quality systems can help improve the company's activities“, – says General Director of BSS Aidas Kavaliauskas.

On the 25th of April „Baltic Software Solutions“, together with 16 other Lithuanian companies supported the social project „See the dream“. This project is dedicated to encourage young blind and partially sighted students' to pursue career and self-build for the future. Social project „See the dream“ aims to encourage children with visual disabilities to actively plan their careers and to seek it, also to change the public opinion about the negative provisions for people with disabilities and the capacity to work in modern society.

Advanced business process management software developing company „Baltic Software Solutions“ will be allocated over 150 thousand. Lt from European Union funds to prepare technical possibilities studies. 

Advanced business process management software developing company "Baltic Software Solutions” (BSS) continues cooperation with Kaunas technology university (KTU). Two years in a row BSS becomes the general sponsor of the Career fair organized by KTU. This fair is held for the fifth time. This year 46 companies participated in the fair − it is twice less than last year.

Advanced business process management software design company "Baltic Software Solutions“ (BSS) 2008 turnover was 5,3 mln. Lt − 23 percent more than in 2007.

"This is the best results over the nearly 8 years of company’s age. The turnover growth was mainly due to the success of projects in foreign countries − Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg, the United States of America. Last year we have signed up several important cooperation agreements with Lithuanian and foreign companies", − said BSS General Director Aidas Kavaliauskas about the reasons of the growth. 

On February 18 & 19, 2009, the 1st CEE Financial Center Meeting was held in the Poland capital Warsaw. Nearly 130 financial and IT sectors firms from different countries participated in this meeting. Possibilities how to create single finance market in the EU as well as how to survive economic recession and manage risk of investment using new methods and effective IT solutions were discussed in the meeting. This meeting was attended by the only representative from Lithuania − UAB "Baltic software Solutions" (BSS).

Private Limited Company „Baltic Software Solutions“, developing advanced business management programs, for the first time represented Lithuania in the third-largest information technology exhibition GITEX Technology Week 2008 (http://www.gitex.com) in Dubai on 19th−23rd of October.

This year software development company „Baltic Software Solutions“ have supported initiative of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) student’s to arrange selection of students to take part in the International Collegiate Programming Contest ACM ICPC. 

Private Limited Company „Baltic Software Solutions“ and international telecommunication company „Avaya“ have signed a partnership agreement.

Private Limited Companies „Baltic Software Solutions“ and „Inka“ have concluded a partnership agreement. UAB „Inka“ is a company, which specializes in energetics and it‘s modernization and automatization.

BSS and DnB NORD Bankas have agreed on the development and implementation of the new Pension and Investment Fund management system.

The beginning of 2008 and sudden growth of business coincided for BSS. Due to the need of human resources it was decided to take part in Kaunas University of Technology Career Fair 2008. BSS went in for this event for the first time ever and became a general sponsor at once.

Due to the alliance of UAB “Baltic Software Solutions” and CID GmbH, a new website for job proposals was created.

There were some changes in BSS management after origination of promising project activities and the agreement of cooperation between UAB “Baltic Software Solutions” and CID GbmH.

In November 2007 UAB “Baltic Software Solutions” together with CID GmbH signed a letter of agreement on consolidation. CID GmbH is a German company dedicated in software development.
