BSS is one of the biggest software development companies in Kaunas, developing solutions for large and medium companies in Lithuania and abroad. Last year almost all the company’s incomes was received from abroad − nearly 89 percent. "Our company is a member of international group of companies CID. It helps to develop business in foreign markets, however, it allows both enterprises and employees satisfy increasing needs of clients. Though 81 percent of income we receive from Germany. Last year BSS has acquired the status of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. This status is given for achievements in application solutions and data management solutions. This proves that BSS business management systems are highly innovative, adaptable to each client. Number of BSS staff has also expanded − 23 various levels employees of administrative and technical staff have joined the company team. There are 82 specialists working at the company at the moment.

BSS is planning to offer new financial products for the markets in 2009. "We started our activity in the financial services management solutions development − we have the most experience in this field. Linas Blažaitis, very skilled specialist in banking software, has joined our staff since this week. We are planning to offer innovative clients risk evaluation solutions for retail banking", − said A. Kavaliauskas.

L. Blažaitis has been working at banking systems development and installation since 1993. "I gained experience while working in the most largest and reliable banks in Lithuania. This year BSS also is planning to participate in a variety of foreign IT exhibitions, forums. A proximate event is KTU Career Day 2009. It will be held on March 18th. "The company strategically successful actions carried out before the crisis. Although there are more and more news about dismissed employees in Lithuania and foreign countries, we are still looking for the best IT specialists. We are well known in foreign countries, but not enough in Lithuania. Therefore one of our goals this year is to prove to Lithuanian business that our software is an advanced tool, saving the company money, optimizing the activity and assist the successful restructuring of the economy and prepare for the new economic challenges", − said A.
